About MD Wind

Extending Wind Turbine Life.
Lasting Performance.
Founded in 2010 by Matthieu Dessailly, a former manager and consultant in the wind industry, MDWind is a trusted partner providing end-to-end onshore wind services across Europe.
From blade and tower repair to preventive maintenance, main component exchange, and life extension projects, we cover every phase of a turbine’s operational lifecycle — right through to dismantling and recycling.
Why we do it

We believe turbines deserve attention at every step of their lifecycle by keeping them safe, reliable, and efficient year after year.

Matthieu Dessailly, CEO & Founder

When I founded MDWind, it was first of all a desire to be an entrepreneur, but above all to create a company that resembles me, one that defends both its added value as a quality service provider and the interests of the employees who contribute to its success. This is a fundamental philosophy for us, and I make it a point of honour to ensure that it is the leitmotiv of every decision we make.

Our Story

2010 - MDWind is founded

MDWind started working with Nordex and Senvion, forging its place in the sector by installing and maintaining these manufacturers’ catalogue of machines.

Over the next 5 years, the number of technicians increased considerably, and projects multiplied throughout Europe.

New activity added. Following the acquisition of Easy Wind Solution, MDWind is now able to offer its customers the rotor blades services with a highly qualified team.

The bankruptcy of Senvion, one of the company’s biggest customers, called MDWind’s strategy into question. But every crisis has its opportunities! The end customers who had used Senvion, now orphaned, turned to MDWind.

First C&I projects were launched with a view to life-time extension, and MDWind now offers a turnkey service, applying its knowledge of major turbine’s manufacturers to the replacement of large components.

Thanks to its expertise and international dimension, MDWind is able to close the loop and offer a tailored approach.

MDWind is able to offer its customers a complete service, throughout the entire life cycle of the wind turbine. It becomes a one-stop shop.

First C&I contract for MDWind teams, with 22 turbines installed on the double Vannier wind farm in France. A challenge that will be just the beginning of a great series.

MDWind is launching its own Methodology Study office to offer viable solutions for the most complex projects. A step forward in the company’s value proposition.

A growing business and a head full of projects. The company is bulding a new office, still in Luxembourg, with work scheduled for completion in early 2026.
